International Association of Congress Centres

Founded in 1958 and located in Brussels, AIPC (Association Internationale des Palais de Congres) is a professional, non-profit association of international congress, convention and exhibition centres, whose purpose is to encourage and recognize excellence in congress centre management. Salzburg Congress is a founding member of AIPC.

Main goals of the AIPC:

• Encouraging close relationships between its members and the congress industry
• Encouraging Professional networking and the exchange of best practices
• Following and anticipating trends in the congress industry
• Developing relevant educational and training programmes for staff and management at all levels of congress
• Creating awareness and promoting the international congress industry

With a global network of more than 150 of the world’s leading centres, the AIPC’s programmes help members develop and enhance management expertise in the areas of operations, finance, technology, staff development, marketing, client relations and environment.
