Hotel Route in Salzburg

To help you find where you’re staying in Salzburg, most Hotels are included to the Salzburg Hotel Route System, which divides dividing the town into four different colored sectors, red, yellow, green and orange.

Access Routes to Salzburg

Each sector is easily accessible from the motorway network via a main route into Salzburg city center. These roads are clearly signposted with color-coded "Hotelroute" signs. These routes are also included in our city maps, catalogues and other documentation.
 
Route Yellow starts at the Tourist Info South and goes to Alpenstrasse.
Route Green goes from Salzburg’s „West“ exit to Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse, towards Neutor.
Orange begins at exit "Mitte" onto Münchner Bundesstrasse, goes through Ignaz Harrer Strasse to the Train station.  
Red takes the „North“ exit through Vogelweiderstrasse.

Accommodation in Salzburg

Hotels located directly along these routes can be easily spotted by their signs in front of the building, showing their Hotel name. Hotels located away from the main route are well signposted.
