The first floor. Up among the branches.

The first floor provides the largest open space for communication in the whole building. The flexibility of space and the undivided floor surface make it possible to organise up to five ‘breakouts’ to the neighbouring Karajan and Wolf-Dietrich halls allowing for a broad range of planning options.

This is an ideal venue for events, exhibitions and displays, catering and for relaxation areas for your guests, providing a view of the picturesque Mirabell gardens. Two open plan lounges can serve as internet cafés and a very original office beneath the escalator often serves as a preview room or an organisation team office.

The moving staircase takes guests up from the ground floor straight to the exhibition foyer on the first floor.

Karajan Hall

The Karajan hall offers up to 300m² for a whole ranger of functions and seating arrangements; whether theatre, classroom or banquet.
