Hotel Service

Our comprehensive hotel service

There are over 13,000 hotel beds within the city of Salzburg, 1,200 of which are within easy walking distance of Salzburg Congress. Our hotel service ensures your participants enjoy the best accommodation possible.

There is a large selection of top quality 3, 4 and 5-star hotels in Salzburg, many of which are located just a few minutes’ walk from the Salzburg Congress venue. Reserve and book via our hotel service and we can make sure you and your participants find the best possible accommodation.

The Salzburg Congress hotel service provides the following benefits:

1. Reservation of individual bookings

via the official Tourismus Salzburg GmbH booking system. We also take your individual requests and requirements into account.

2. Reservation and management of room quotas

for congress organisers with available quotas – and for company customers (participants, organisers, employees etc.) as a group quota.

Production of room order forms
We provide an A4 form as a pdf file featuring your corporate logo for use on the event website. The form can be used to reserve hotel rooms via faxes or e-mails sent to Salzburg Congress. Confirmation can be sent as requested – by post, fax or e-mail.

Online booking using the TSG booking system (Deskline/Feratel)
Online link (Quick Finder) with more detailed descriptions of the selected hotels and direct booking options for participants. Confirmation of your reservation is made via fax or e-mail – as requested.

Sending booking confirmation straight to the participant
Every participant receives his/her hotel reservation confirmation with exact details about the hotel.

Handling of participants: Support making reservations, with individual stay extensions, plus tourist information for participants
All callers can be connected directly with the Congress Service Centre by Tourismus Salzburg GmbH’s central office in order to make a reservation. Participants are also provided with tourist information about places to go and events to attend. There is also the option of extending your stay and of organising multi-berth rooms.

Production of reservation and booking lists
Shortly before the event is due to begin, the organiser is provided with an overview of all hotel reservations made by participants via the Congress Service Centre. For block reservations (groups) or corporate events, the lists of names provided are forwarded to the hotels with specific individual wishes and requirements.

Post-event hotel invoices
Depending on the preferences of the organiser, invoicing can be implemented as a direct overall bill, a split customer/organiser bill or a total bill via Salzburg Congress.

3. Additional services

  • Provision of items in rooms (personalised/non-personalised gifts and messages for participants)
  • Organisation of hospitality desks in hotels to and from hotels
  • Transfer of participants
